  Sandhills Motoring Expo is a premier high end collector car festival and car show. Thru the weekend you will see supercars and classic cars valued into the millions each. This year they will be doing a special Dodge Viper class at the concourse event on Sunday 5/18. Example of other classes will be Italian sports classic, Italian sports modern, Supercars, Air cooled Porsche, Bentley/Rolls Royce and more. This is a very special as they traditionally don't do classes that are car model specific. So, I ask everyone to please consider attending.

 There is a whole weekend of automotive activities. Some have limited spots, others do not. Below you will see the things that we will be participating as a club in. Link next to each activity for more details on it. You can take part in all of them, some, or something different if you like. I recommend booking them now to guarantee your spot. 

 The concourse show Sunday is an invite event limited to 8 cars per class and you must apply now to participate in. (Link below) If think you will attend but aren't 100%, please still apply anyway. They will select alternatives, but please PLEASE let them and me know right away if you decide later not to participate. They will need a couple photos and detailed information about your car. Please mention you are a member of the club to help with the selection process. They did say they will allow us up to 10 cars in the class if there are a lot of quality entrees. I have participated once and so has Larry Martof. They only allow cars to participate once every 3 years in order to keep if fresh. So, this opportunity for us to participate won't be happening again for a while.

(some won't want to risk dirtying their cars prior to the concourse. This is why we will be doing this instead of the driving events)

Lunch

Clean cars for concourse. 3pm

I will have a location setup for us to wash cars one last time. Just in case anyone had long drive or did a driving activity. 

Hangar Soiree (limited tickets, $100pp)

Concours in the Village (free)

The cost are per person with exception of the Rally and Concourse. If for some reason you’re not selected for the Concourse (doubtful). It is a free public event. So, you will still be able to attend the show and hang out with the club. Same for Saturday morning, if event sells out. If you need trailer parking, I can arrange something close to the event or you can store in at my house 25 minutes from the event location. If enough attend I will have transportation for us for Friday and Saturday evening. Please let me know when you put your application in and what you will be participating in. Again, most things are limited so please purchase your ticket and apply ASAP. You will need to go to the 2 links below and reply to this email.
